Vacuum casting (also known as Urethane casting or Polyurethane casting) utilizes silicone moulds to produce plastic and rubber components under vacuum. This adaptable manufacturing process mimics injection moulding to create complex parts in polyurethane resins and cast nylon.

ABS Plastic Properties

ABS plastic is a terpolymer of acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B), and styrene (S). The relative content of these monomers can be varied to create different resin formulations.

ABS combines the properties of its three components: chemical resistance and heat resistance from acrylonitrile, elasticity and toughness from butadiene, and thermoplastic processing characteristics from styrene. This makes ABS an affordable, versatile material with excellent toughness, hardness, and rigidity.
