The purpose of aluminium surface coating is not only to protect the surface of aluminium parts, but also to enhance the appearance of aluminium parts. The spraying treatment of aluminium parts mainly includes electrophoretic coating, electrostatic powder coating, electrostatic liquid phase spraying and fluorocarbon spraying. For electrophoretic spraying, it can be combined with anodic oxidation.

 

The purpose of anodic oxidation pretreatment is to remove grease, impurities and natural oxide film on the surface of aluminium parts, as well as to form a uniform layer of high-quality anodic oxide film on the clean surface. After anodic oxidation and electrolytic colouring of aluminium parts, electrophoretic coating is carried out. The coating formed by electrophoretic coating is uniform and thin, with high transparency, high corrosion resistance, high weather resistance and affinity to metal texture. Electrostatic powder coating is to spray the powder coating onto the surface of aluminium parts by powder spraying gun, forming a layer of organic polymer film, which mainly plays the role of protection and decoration.

 

The working principle of electrostatic powder coating is briefly described as applying a negative high voltage to the powder coating gun and grounding the coated workpiece so that a high voltage electrostatic field is formed between the gun and the workpiece, which is conducive to powder coating.
