Safety pin materials can be selected 35, 45, 50 steel or T8A, T10A, etc., after heat treatment hardness of 30 ~ 36HRC; The pin sleeve material can be selected from 45 steel, 35SiMn, 40Cr, etc., and the hardness after heat treatment is 40 ~ 50HRC. The diameter of the safety pin should be calculated according to the shear strength tb of the pin, generally preferable tb=(0.6 ~ 0.7)ðb.
