Technical Specifications

Capacitor discharge stud welders use large capacity capacitors as the energy source, precisely controlling discharge time through SCR. This creates instantaneous low voltage and strong current to quickly melt the stud tip, merging it with the work surface in 1-10ms.

Material Classification by Carbon Content

Low carbon steel (C ≤ 0.25%): Easy to forge, weld, and cut. Used for chains, rivets, bolts, and shafts.
Medium carbon steel (0.25% < C ≤ 0.6%): Good hot working properties, moderate strength. Used for mechanical parts and structural applications.
